End of Line Deflagration Flame Arresters are designed to be installed at the end of a pipe or the exhaust port of a storage tank to effectively block the entry of flames and protect the interior of the system when deflagration occurs outside (i.e. flames travel at subsonic speeds). These arresters allow the normal discharge of steam or gas into the atmosphere while preventing the flame from passing through.
Stop flame propagation: through specially designed fire blocking elements, when the flame tries to pass through, its temperature and speed will be rapidly reduced until the flame is extinguished.
Pressure balance: Under normal operating conditions, the flame arrester allows the smooth flow of gas or steam while maintaining a balance of pressure inside and outside the system.
End of Line Deflagration Flame Arresters are widely used in storage tanks, piping systems and gas processing facilities in petroleum, chemical, pharmaceutical, paint, coatings and other industries. Especially when dealing with flammable and explosive media, these flame arresters become an important barrier to protect equipment and personnel safety.
Efficient fire resistance: The use of precision design of fire resistance elements, can reliably prevent the spread of flame.
Low pressure drop: Optimally designed runner structure ensures minimal pressure drop under normal operating conditions.
Easy maintenance: Many models of flame arresters feature a replaceable flame arrester element that facilitates regular inspection and replacement.
Corrosion resistance: According to the different use of the environment, the flame arrester can be selected stainless steel, aluminum alloy and other corrosion resistant materials.
