The ASME U Certificate is a certification issued by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) for boiler and

pressure vessel (BPV) manufacturers. ASME, as an international academic organization, was founded in 1880, and its certification

has a high degree of authority and influence around the world.

ASME U Certificate Overview

Class: A category in the ASME certification program that specializes in boiler and pressure vessel products.

Steel Seal: ASME U certificates are usually accompanied by the award of a U seal, which is ASME's mark of approval for products

that meet its codes and standards. U Seals are used for non-fire pressure vessels constructed in accordance with ASME Section

 VIII, Section I.

Scope of application: In North America, and increasingly elsewhere around the world, ASME boiler and pressure vessel codes

and standards are widely adopted as safety regulations. As a result, ASME U certificates and seals become an important passport

 to enter these markets.

According to the joint inspection procedures, the ASME Joint Inspection Team reviewed the relevant materials of the company's ASME quality assurance system, quality control documents, personnel training, personnel qualification, design documents, process documents, material acceptance, equipment measurement management, non-destructive testing, welding material management, quality inspection and other aspects, communicated and inquired with the person in charge of each link. The on-site production process and welding demonstration of the products were witnessed. During the inspection, the Joint Inspection Unit spoke highly of the design and manufacture of ASME products of the company and put forward valuable comments and suggestions. Zhou Shenshan, deputy general manager of the company, and various professionals accompanied the joint inspection.
